The mix was an amazing combination of flavors. The entire serving stands about 5 inches tall. The sandwich was stacked with the bottom biscuit half covered in sriracha slaw, the mimosa chicken, the top biscuit half topped with sweet potato butter and a poached egg on the very top. The biscuit is huge and the boneless chicken thigh was about 1 inch thick and larger than the biscuit. (the sriracha slaw is slaw with a Thai red jalapeno hot sauce). It was biscuit with mimosa fried chicken, sweet potato butter, sriracha slaw, and a poached egg. We tried their Mimosa Fried Chicken Biscuit which was $9.
It is about 4 by 6 inches and stands about 2-1/2 to 3 inches tall. We love southern cuisine! Their base for their food a large homemade biscuit. They only serve breakfast and lunch.they have a logo that reads "Put Some South in Your Mouth". You HAVE to try this place! My wife and I were driving to Asheville when we saw this new restaurant and decided to try it out. By then our experience was just really disappointing. Her response was, "I will have it re-made but when you come in this time of day it can happen." Wow-just wow!!! So what time of day do we need to come in? Anyway, my pork was hot, my poached egg was hard inside, couldn't find the jalapeno pimento or the maple syrup. He told the server he had seen it sitting there so she waited while he tried it and of course it was cold. Well about three minutes later, it arrived at our table. He said "Well it's cold whoever it belongs to". We discussed maybe it was a forgotten order. Three orders came out and the chicken biscuit was still sitting there. My husband noticed an order in the window. From where we were sitting my husband could see the cooks and the counter. I ordered the pulled pork biscuit and my husband ordered the mimosa fried chicken biscuit. This has to be cut up and eaten with a fork, The service here was fast and friendly! This is one place that we will take ALL our visitors and friends to eat! Their menu is available online.DO NOT MISS THIS ONE! We rank them as our #1 favorite Asheville restaurant.We were so excited to stop in for lunch as my husband and I both work and we can never seem to make it to this place during their business hours.
